DragonBreath Sales Policy

 

Inquiries about our stock:
When you email about our stock please include your location and how you plan on transporting your new rabbit(s). Your emails may not be answered if you do not include the above mentioned information.

 

Selling Bred Does:
We do occasionaly sell does bred. We do not guarantee that they breedings will take,
or that the does will have a live litter. We do not breed all of our breeding age does before
they sell, this is on a case by case basis.

Our Prices:
We do not negotiate prices on our rabbits. What we have them marked at is what we feel they are worth.
We try to be very honest in our pricing, not to overprice our bunnies.
We do give discounts on multiple purchases of $5 off per bunny, with the minimum purchase of 3 rabbits.

Holland Lop Pricing:
Our Holland Lops are priced between $40-$150. Our brood quality starts at
the lower end and top show quality are closer to the $150 range.
We do occasionally have pets available but they will not come with pedigrees.
We reserve the right to raise or lower the price on any Holland Lop
until a deposit of $75.00 is received.

Pet Quality Rabbits:
Our pets are priced at $30. We do not give pedigrees with ANY of our pet quality rabbits.
They are priced as pets because we feel that they are not the quality to be bred from.
NO EXCEPTIONS

Brood Quality Rabbits:
Our definition of brood quality is a rabbit that may or may not do well on the table,
and may in fact have a disqualification,
including but not limited to lack of markings on a broken, ear length or weight,
but has redeeming qualities that make them an asset to a breeding herd.
The buyer will be notified that the rabbit has disqualifications before sale is final.

Show Quality Rabbits:
We guarantee that none of our show quality rabbits will have disqualifications. We cannot guarantee how the rabbits
will place at a show. We do not offer refunds on differences in opinions.

We do not guarantee the ability of any rabbit to produce live offspring.
We will not knowingly sell any rabbit that does not reproduce, or knowingly sell a rabbit that is a poor mother.
However, we cannot guarantee that in a new home or under new conditions that a rabbit will reproduce successfully.
We offer no refund or replacement for lack of reproduction for any reason in either does or bucks.

Deposits:
We require a $75.00 non-refundable deposit. Deposits can be made in cash, paypal, check , or money order.
We will only accept checks for deposits. The checks must be able to clear before the rabbit leaves our possesion.
We require a deposit within 10 days of you commiting to purchase from us. If a deposit is not received within
the alloted time the rabbit will be released for sale.

Once your deposit has been received and you have commited to purchasing the rabbit we will not refund any money
due to you changing your mind.

Balances Owed:
The balance owed must be paid in the form of cash, money order, or paypal at or before pick up/delivery.
The buyer (or buyer's agent) must fully inspect the rabbit at the time of pickup before the sale
is finalized. The sale is finalized once the rabbit is paid for in full and the buyer (or buyer's agent)
has taken possession of it.

Paypal Payments:
If paying using paypal we require that the buyer pays the 3% handling charge imposed by paypal. On ALL Payments made.

Pick Up, Shipping and Delivery:

Unless other arrangements are made, pick up must be completed within 2 weeks of deposit being received.
If other arrangements have not been made, and the rabbit is still here 14 days past the
date of the deposit being received the sale will be cancelled
and the deposit forfeited.
We do not deliver rabbits and we do not meet halfway.
We will however gladly bring the rabbits to a show we are attending for pick up.

We will ship, but there is a minimum purchase of $300. Please understand that this is on top of the
shipping charges and vet charges. Shipping is weather permitting. Shipping charges include airfare, gas and toll fees,
cost of carrier and cups, vet checks, and health certificate.

We can work together with nearby rabbitries on combining shipments.
We do reserve the right to choose who we combine shipments with, so contact us prior to making any arrangements.
We will not be responsible for getting rabbits from other
rabbitries and/or shows or any pick up of rabbits for a combined shipment, or responsible for vet checks or any other costs
associated with combining a shipment.
The $300 minimum purchase to ship is only rabbits purchased from our rabbitry, and does
not include any other combined shipment purchases.

DragonBreath Guarantee:

We guarantee that the rabbit was healthy at the time of sale,
that they show no signs of disease, diarrhea, and/or nasal/eye discharge.

We cannot control what happens once the rabbit has left our care,
including disease or death, including but not limited to,
abuse, neglect, extreme temperatures, malnourishment, improper housing
which causes sickness or death, injury from other animals or children. exposure to
other illnesses and sickness from other animals during travel, shows, or at your residence.
We do not guarantee for any of these issues once the sale has been finalized.

Rabbits purchased through a third party, as opposed to being purchased from us
will under no circumstances be replaced, traded or guaranteed.

Name Policy:

We take great pride in our stock and have worked very hard to build our herd to what it is
and have earned the right for our stock to carry the DragonBreath prefix. Any rabbit sold here
that was bred at another rabbitry must retain their original breeder prefix and exact name given
to them by their original breeders. In our opinion, changing a prefix is unethical.

We also reserve the right to cancel any sale at any time, if we feel that it is not within the animals best interest.
If a deposit has already been received, it will be returned if we decide to cancel the sale.


We reserve the right to change these policies on a case by case basis at our discretion.
